Configure Payment Settings

Payment settings control how clients can pay when booking appointments through your app. These options are found in the Settings tab under the "Payment" section.

Access Payment Settings

1. Click "Profile & Settings" in the left sidebar.

2. Click the "Settings" tab (the gear icon).

3. Scroll down to the "Payment" section, below the Booking settings.

Allow Booking Without Payment

When this checkbox is enabled (checked by default), clients can book appointments without paying upfront. They can choose to pay in person at the time of their visit. This is the most flexible option and is recommended if you accept walk-in-style payments.

Allow Booking With Payment

When this checkbox is enabled (checked by default), clients can pay online during the booking process using a saved card or payment method. This option works alongside the "Pay now" button that appears on the Review Summary screen in the app.

Booking Tip

When this checkbox is enabled (unchecked by default), a tipping screen will be shown to customers when they check out for an appointment. Clients can select a tip amount before completing their payment.

Hover over the info icon next to "Booking tip" to see a tooltip that reads: "Tipping screen will be shown to customers when checking out for appointment."

Combining Payment Options

You can enable both "Allow booking without payment" and "Allow booking with payment" at the same time. This gives clients the choice between paying online or in person. If you disable both, clients will not be able to complete bookings — so keep at least one option enabled.

Save Your Changes

After adjusting any payment settings, click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page to apply them.
