1. Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to barbers, independent stylists, and shop owners who register as service providers on the CLPPER platform. By creating a barber account, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Identity & Business Information

Full name, business name, phone number, and email address. Profile photo and professional bio. Service menu including names, descriptions, pricing, and duration. Shop or booth location and address.

Financial & Payout Information

Stripe Connect onboarding data — Stripe processes and stores all sensitive financial credentials; CLPPER does not store raw banking information. Payout history and earnings summaries. Platform fee records associated with completed transactions.

Platform Activity

Appointment history including completed, cancelled, and no-show records. Client roster data for customers who have booked through your profile. Revenue goal tracking data and progress metrics. Loyalty and referral program configurations you set. QR code usage and scan analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

To process bookings and facilitate payments via Stripe Connect. To display your profile, services, and availability to customers. To calculate and disburse payouts following appointment completion. To power your revenue goal tracking dashboard. To operate loyalty and referral programs you configure. To generate and manage QR codes linked to your booking page. To send appointment notifications including confirmations, cancellations, and no-show alerts. To improve platform performance, reliability, and features. For fraud detection and platform integrity.

4. Data Sharing

Stripe — for payment processing and identity verification. Stripe's own Privacy Policy governs their handling of your data. Customers — your name, photo, services, pricing, and availability are visible to customers on the platform. Third-party service providers — CLPPER may share data with vendors who support platform operations such as hosting, analytics, and communications. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose beyond the services they provide to CLPPER. Legal compliance — data may be disclosed if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process. No sale of your data — CLPPER does not sell barber data to advertisers or unaffiliated third parties.

5. Your Responsibilities Regarding Client Data

As a barber on CLPPER, you will have access to customer names, phone numbers (including contacts imported by customers), and booking history. You agree to use this data solely for appointment management and service delivery. You may not contact customers for purposes unrelated to CLPPER-facilitated services, and you may not share, sell, or transfer client data to any third party.

6. Data Retention

CLPPER retains your account data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including operating your account, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Retention periods are determined at CLPPER's discretion based on operational and legal requirements. Upon account deletion, CLPPER will remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business necessity.

7. Your Rights

Access and export your account and transaction data. Correct inaccurate profile information at any time. Request account deletion, subject to applicable retention requirements. Opt out of non-essential marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@clpper.com.

All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant. Access controls and authentication are enforced on all barber account data. While CLPPER takes reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and safeguard your account credentials.

9. Age Requirement

CLPPER is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. By registering as a barber, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. CLPPER does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has registered, we will take steps to remove their information promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

CLPPER may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

For Customers & Platform Users

1. Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to customers who use the CLPPER platform to discover barbers, book appointments, and manage their grooming experience. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account & Identity Information

Full name, phone number, and email address. Profile photo (if provided). Payment method — processed and tokenized by Stripe. CLPPER does not store raw card numbers or CVV data.

Booking & Service History

Appointments booked including barber, service, date, time, and price. Cancellation and no-show history. Reviews or ratings submitted.

Loyalty & Referral Activity

Points earned and redeemed through loyalty programs. Referral links clicked or shared. Rewards history.

Contact Import (If Permitted)

If you grant contact access, phone numbers from your address book may be used to suggest barbers you may know or to facilitate referrals. This data is not shared with third parties or used for marketing without your explicit consent.

Technical Data

Device type, operating system, and app version. IP address and general location for barber discovery and search. Session logs and feature usage data.

CLPPER may use your approximate location to surface nearby barbers. Precise location is used only with your permission. Location data is not shared with individual barbers or third parties and is not stored beyond the session in which it is used.
