Create an appointment from the Command Center
You can create appointments directly from the Command Center on behalf of walk-in clients or phone bookings. This adds the appointment to the schedule calendar immediately.
Steps to create an appointment
1. Go to the Schedule page from the sidebar.
2. Click the gold "Appointment" button in the top-right corner of the schedule header.
3. The "New Appointment" modal will open with a form to fill out.
4. Enter the client's email address in the Email field.
5. Enter the client's first name and last name.
6. Enter the client's phone number.
7. Select a barber from the "Select barber" dropdown. This list shows all barbers on your team.
8. Select a service from the "Select service" dropdown. Each option shows the service name and duration in minutes (for example, "Haircut (30 min)").
9. Choose a date using the date picker. Click the date field to open a calendar, select the day, and confirm.
10. Choose a start time from the time dropdown. Times are available in 15-minute intervals from 7:00 AM to 10:45 PM. The selected time is highlighted in gold.
11. Optionally, add any special notes in the "Notes" text area.
12. Click "Save Appointment" to create it. The button is only active when all required fields are filled in correctly.
After creating
Once saved, the appointment appears on the schedule calendar in the selected barber's column for the chosen date and time. A confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen. New appointments default to "unpaid" status.
Required fields
All fields are required except Notes. If a required field is missing or invalid, a red error message will appear below that field and the "Save Appointment" button will remain disabled.
